Tank Elementary School will be hosting a final celebration on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from noon to 2:00 p.m.
Staff, students, families, and community members are invited to wander through Tank and reminisce.
Light refreshments will be served.
At 1:30 p.m., a photo will be taken of all current and former staff and students in attendance.
The original Tank Elementary School opened in 1896 and the current Tank school was built in 1939.
Over the years, Tank has housed various programs, including Head Start and the bilingual program.
For the 2024-25 school year, Tank Elementary will be consolidated with Lincoln Elementary School.
